My Background
My name is Lindsay Hansch. I grew up in the lake country of Tasmania. Wildlife has always been part of my life. I served my country as a soldier for 27 years and as a public servant for 15 years before retiring to pursue my interest in wildlife photography. My primary focus is on birds but I also photograph animals, reptiles, insects and wildflowers. I am a member of Birdlife Australia and the Canberra Ornithologists Group and currently live at Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia.
The Beauty of Wild Things
My wife, Rhonda, and I travel widely, both within Australia and overseas. During our travels we are constantly surrounded by natural beauty and interesting creatures and things. I use my camera to document them, primarily for my own interest but I am also happy to share my pictures with others.
